Price Revision Notice

We have maintained our prices for a little over two years since the launch of the Sekai Neko-ka community, but we have decided to revise our prices starting July 1, 2026.

Prices are expected to increase by approximately 10-15% (and more for some products).

While the rising cost of materials is certainly a factor, we ultimately decided that a price increase is necessary to continuously raise the wages of our artisans and continue our manufacturing efforts.

The current state of manufacturing in Japan has completely lost momentum, pressured by low-priced products created by cheap labor overseas. We are in a difficult situation, caught between not being able to raise prices and thus not making a profit, or raising prices and not selling enough to make a profit.

We must break free from the long-standing situation where cost suppression burdens our artisans, and create an environment where they can engage in creative, high-value-added work that they are meant to do.

While I keenly feel how difficult it is to achieve this in my daily business operations (even after eight years, we still haven't achieved it!), I believe there is no other way to continue manufacturing in Japan.

Creating products that allow people to feel the value of handmade craftsmanship.

Allowing artisans to work vibrantly.

And inspiring young people who see this to become artisans and work vibrantly themselves.

This price increase is unavoidable to create this cycle.

This isn't just a price increase; we will continue to improve quality and services to ensure that our customers feel they are receiving value beyond the new price!
