More compact, more simple.

The "Nyapera Grande," a popular compact wallet from Cats of Philosophii, is being renewed🐾

The catalyst for this renewal was a previous wallet survey.

Among the many responses we received were:

"I want the thinnest wallet possible"
"I want a light and compact wallet"

These were some of the comments we received.

We repeatedly prototyped the new Nyapera Grande while listening to your feedback during Instagram LIVE sessions.

This time, we will explain in detail what has changed😽

Combining the best features of Nyapera and Nyapera Grande🐾

The first thing we reviewed this time was the size of the wallet and the card storage method.

The previous Nyapera Grande had a three-tiered card storage system, which inevitably made it wider.

So this time, instead of arranging cards one by one, we changed it to a system where they can be stored together.

By allowing approximately 10 cards to be stored together, we significantly reduced the overall size while maintaining storage capacity✨

The width is the same as "Nyapera."

The height is smaller than the previous Nyapera Grande and slightly larger than Nyapera.

It's truly a size that combines "Nyapera" and "Nyapera Grande"🐈💕

It incorporates the easy-to-hold compactness of Nyapera and the storage capacity of Nyapera Grande, taking the best of both worlds.

Furthermore, the back card pocket can hold 1 to 2 frequently used cards.

The new Nyapera Grande is easy to use even for those who "want storage capacity but don't want a large wallet"🐾

Removed the cat metal fitting and added a cat-shaped window and a paw print charm🐈

In this renewal, we removed the cat metal fitting on the front, which was a major feature of the previous Nyapera Grande.

The cat metal fitting was a cute point typical of Cats of Philosophii, but having the fitting inevitably added thickness and weight.

So this time, we boldly removed the cat metal fitting, resulting in a clean and simple design for the front✨

But we've made sure to keep the cat details😽

First, the paw print charm🐾

This was added based on requests from everyone during the Instagram LIVE prototyping session✨

And on the back pocket, we created a small window in the shape of a cat silhouette🐈💕

From the front, it looks simple and mature, but when you flip it over, you catch a glimpse of a cat.

We renewed the design to be subtly enjoyable, without overly emphasizing the cat motif🐾

Cat-themed even when open🐾

The new Nyapera Grande has a simple front, but we've packed it with plenty of Cats of Philosophii's signature cat details in the subtle areas😽

The inside of the card pockets and the coin pocket have cute paw print designs!💕

The key point is that they are usually hidden and only peek out when you take out cards or coins☝️

Of course, the zipper pull is a paw print pull🐾

The card pockets also feature paw print embossing!

The front is clean and simple.
The back has a cat-shaped window.
And when opened, there are paw prints, a paw print zipper pull, and a paw print charm.

Not overly emphasizing the cat motif. But if you look closely, there are plenty of cat details🐾
It turned out to be a wallet that offers both simplicity and cuteness🙌

This time, it's made with Chevre leather✨

The exterior of the new Nyapera Grande uses "Chevre" goat leather, produced by the long-established French tannery "Alran S.A."

Chevre is a durable material with a beautiful luster and elegant texture, yet it is lightweight, scratch-resistant, and resistant to deterioration over time.

And its vibrant and beautiful color development is also one of its charms✨

For this Nyapera Grande, we have prepared 5 colors that allow you to enjoy the charm of Chevre💕

For the interior, we've combined it with "Cuir Mache," which is familiar to Cats of Philosophii.

We plan to introduce Alran's Chevre in more detail in a blog post soon🐾
