Introducing a bi-fold version of the Nouvelle series, designed with compactness and ease of use in mind!

The palm-sized "Nouvelle PALM"

One of the smallest bi-fold wallets available.

We completely rethought the structure of a bi-fold wallet and designed it from scratch.

It provides secure storage for bills, cards, and coins while being noticeably smaller than typical bi-fold wallets.

It fits perfectly in the palm of a woman's hand.

Size of standard bi-fold wallet: Approx. 10cm (H) x 10cm (W) x 2.5cm (D)

Size of Nouvelle PALM: 8.5cm (H) x 9.3cm (W) x 2cm (D)

→ With a volume reduction of about 40%, it won't take up too much space, even in a small bag.

Compared to a folded 10,000 yen note (80mm width x 76mm height), the wallet is nearly the same size (93mm x 85mm), making it the absolute minimum size for a bi-fold wallet.

The secret to its thinness

The secret to the "Nouvelle PALM's" thinness lies in the zippered coin pocket.

Both coins and cards fit inside the wide-opening L-shaped zipper.

In standard wallets, card slots and coin pockets are separate, which causes them to overlap and make the wallet thicker.

In the Nouvelle PALM, cards are stored in the upper section of the zippered pocket while coins settle at the bottom, preventing them from overlapping.

There is no wasted space inside when the zipper is closed, allowing for smart storage of cards and coins.

Smooth and comfortable zipper

To balance the wallet's thin profile with zipper ease-of-use, the "Nouvelle PALM" uses the YKK Excella No. 2 zipper, which is rare for wallets.

The No. 2 zipper has a narrower width and a smaller slider than the zippers used in typical long wallets (No. 3 or No. 5 zippers), allowing for a thinner wallet design.

The zipper slides smoothly, making it easy to open and close even when full of cards and coins.

Wide-opening coin pocket

The coin pocket features the signature wide-opening gusset common to the Nouvelle series.

The gusset is constructed by folding a single piece of leather from the main body into a V-shape; because it has no stitching, it opens wide, allowing cards and coins to be inserted easily all the way to the back.

Holds over 10 cards

There are card pockets on both the front and back sides inside the zippered pocket.

You can store 4 cards in the front and 4 in the back, for a total of 8 cards.

The cards are stored overlapping to minimize thickness.

Combined with the "smart pocket" (which holds 3 cards), you can store a total of 11 cards.

Use the smart pocket for frequently used cards

We have included a "smart pocket" that allows you to insert or remove cards without opening the wallet.

The smart pocket is located inside when the snap button is opened and also serves to hold bills in place.

When the snap is closed, the cards cannot be seen from the outside.

Because you can slide cards in and out from the side while the snap is closed, you can keep your most-used cards in this smart pocket, eliminating the need to open the zipper pocket every time.

The smart pocket can hold up to 3 cards.

Even with just one card, it won't slip out from the side when the snap is closed.

The smart pocket's cards and the snap are designed not to overlap, so the overall thickness of the wallet remains the same even when 3 cards are stored.
