"Nouvelle" (meaning "new" in French)

This long wallet was completely redesigned from scratch to become a new standard long wallet for Philosophii.

The Nouvelle small leather flap long wallet was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and is suitable for a cashless society.

Minimal yet luxurious

Despite its small and understated design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The Nouvelle is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that lifts your spirits with its high-quality leather and careful craftsmanship, allowing you to feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm.

To bring out the soft charm of "Cuir Mash," a domestic shrink leather, the wallet body is made plump with a single, seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and experience the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000 yen bill (160mm wide x 76mm high), with dimensions of 164mm wide x 85mm high, it is the smallest possible long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to a typical long wallet (approximately 200mm wide) or the compact long wallet Fleur Long (175mm wide).

This wallet is perfect for those who use small bags but still want a long wallet.

Even when filled, the thickness is approximately 20mm.

It is designed not to bulge even with a large capacity.

Frequently used cards in the front pocket

We added a front pocket that can hold 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Having cards in the front pocket also reinforces the most frequently touched area of the wallet's front, which helps prevent the leather from getting damaged.

Convenient back pocket

A large pocket is attached to the outer back.

It's very convenient for temporarily storing receipts or tickets.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping it thin and giving it a sleek, unobtrusive appearance.

Bills can be separated into two places

We have realized the common request from many wallet orders to "separate bills into two places."

With bill compartments on both the front and back sides of the coin purse, you can flexibly separate bills, or separate bills and receipts.

Peace of mind even with many cards

Cards are stored in the back of the interior.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we reduced leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are generously sized with extra width, so they won't feel tight even if you have more cards.

Some wallets may show card impressions on the exterior, but the "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card space, the card impressions are less likely to show on the exterior.

Plenty of room for coins

Although the "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, opening the snap reveals wide gussets on both sides, making the central coin space easy to see.

The wide coin space, utilizing the full width, makes it easy to put your hand in and provides excellent visibility of coins.

Even if the number of coins increases, they are distributed inside, so you don't have to worry about the thickness even with many coins jingling around.

Made from genuine Japanese cowhide leather, each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

Since the entire interior is also genuine leather, there is no fuzz on the back or degradation of the interior over time.
