"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

This is a long wallet newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for Philosophii's long wallets.

The small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits in small bags and adapts to the cashless trend.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Though small and understated in design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed for a wallet that evokes a feeling of warmth and luxury in your hand through high-quality leather and meticulous tailoring.

To bring out the soft leather charm of domestic shrink leather "Cuir Mâche," the main body of the wallet is made plump from a single, seamless piece of leather.

Please feel the luxurious texture of the leather in your hands.

Ultimate Compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000 yen bill (160mm width x 76mm height), this wallet measures 164mm width x 85mm height, making it the minimum size for a long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to general long wallets (around 200mm width) and the compact long wallet Fleur Long (175mm width).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet despite having a small bag.

Even when full, its thickness is only about 20mm.

It is designed to not bulge even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We added a front pocket that can hold 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also has the benefit of reinforcing the most frequently touched front opening of the wallet, making the leather less prone to damage.

Convenient Back Pocket

We added a large pocket on the back exterior.

It is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts or tickets.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping the thickness down and maintaining a sleek and smart appearance.

Two Bill Compartments

We have fulfilled the frequent request for "two bill compartments" that we received while taking many wallet orders.

With bill compartments on both the front and back sides of the coin purse, you can use it flexibly to separate bills, or separate bills from receipts.

Peace of Mind for Many Cards

Cards are stored in the inner back compartment.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we reduced leather components, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are generously wide, so they won't feel cramped even if you increase the number of cards.

While some wallets show card impressions on the outside, the "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card space, the card impressions are less likely to show on the exterior.

Plenty of Room for Coins

Despite its slim profile when closed, the "Nouvelle" opens wide on both sides when unsnapped, providing easy visibility of the central coin compartment.

The coin compartment spans the entire width, making it easy to access coins and offering high visibility.

Even if you accumulate many coins, they disperse within the compartment, so you won't notice the thickness even with a large amount of loose change.

Made with genuine Japanese leather (cowhide), each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

The entire interior is also made of genuine leather, so there is no fraying on the reverse side or deterioration of the interior over time.
