"Nouvelle," meaning "new" in French.

This long wallet was newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for Philosophii's long wallets.

The "Nouvelle" small leather flap long wallet was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and adapts to the cashless trend.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Despite its small and modest design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm, using high-quality leather and careful craftsmanship.

To bring out the soft charm of domestically produced shrink leather "Cuir Mache," the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

With dimensions (width 164mm x height 85mm) almost identical to a 10,000 yen bill (width 160mm x height 76mm), it is the minimum size for a long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to general long wallets (around 200mm wide) and the compact Fleur Long long wallet (175mm wide).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet but carry a small bag.

The thickness is approximately 20mm even when filled.

It is designed to remain slim even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We added a front pocket that can hold 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also reinforces the most frequently touched entrance of the wallet, which helps prevent the leather from getting damaged.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket is attached to the outer back.

This is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, which keeps it thin and gives it a discreet, smart appearance.

Bills Can Be Separated into Two Sections

We have fulfilled the frequent request to "store bills in two separate places," which we have received through many wallet orders.

There are two bill compartments, one in front of the coin purse and one behind it, allowing for flexible use, such as separating bills, or separating bills and receipts.

No Worries Even with Many Cards

Cards are stored in the back inside.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we were able to reduce leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are generously wide, so they won't feel cramped even if you have more cards.

With some wallets, card impressions can show through to the exterior, but "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card slots, the card outlines are less likely to show on the exterior.

Coins Can Jingle Freely

While "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, opening the snap reveals wide gussets on both sides, allowing easy visibility of the central coin compartment.

The coin compartment spans the entire width, making it easy to access and providing high visibility for coins.

Even if you accumulate many coins, they disperse inside, so you won't notice the thickness even with a lot of jingling coins.

Made from Japanese genuine leather (cowhide), each item is meticulously produced by artisans in Japan.

The interior is also entirely genuine leather, ensuring no fuzzing on the reverse side or deterioration of the lining over time.
