"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

It is a long wallet newly designed from scratch to create a new standard long wallet for Philosophii.

The "Nouvelle" compact leather flap long wallet was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and adapts to the cashless trend.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Although it has a small and modest design, it is a wallet with a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that brings joy with high-quality leather and meticulous tailoring, allowing you to feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm.

To bring out the soft charm of domestically produced shrink leather "Cuir Mâché," the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

It is the minimum size for a long wallet, almost the same size as a 10,000-yen bill (width 160mm x height 76mm), at 164mm width x 85mm height.

It is even more compact compared to typical long wallets (approx. 200mm width) and the compact long wallet "Fleur Longue" (175mm width).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet even with a small bag.

The thickness is approximately 20mm even when filled.

It is designed not to bulge even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We added a front pocket that can hold 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also has the advantage of reinforcing the most frequently touched opening of the wallet, making the leather less prone to damage.

Convenient Back Pocket

We added a large pocket on the outer back.

It is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping it thin and giving it a sleek, smart appearance.

Bills Can Be Divided into Two Places

We have realized the common request for "dividing bills into two places," which we have received frequently while taking many wallet orders.

There are two bill compartments, one in front of the coin purse and one behind it, allowing for flexible use such as separating bills or separating bills and receipts.

Plenty of Room for Cards

Cards are stored in the inner back.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

While some wallets show card imprints on the exterior, the "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card pockets, it is designed to prevent card imprints from appearing on the exterior.

Although the "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, opening the snap reveals that the gussets on both sides open wide, making the central coin space easy to see.

The wide coin space, spanning the entire width, makes it easy to access coins and offers excellent visibility.

Even if you have many coins, they are dispersed inside, so the thickness is not an issue even with a lot of loose change.

Made from Japanese genuine leather (cowhide), each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

Since the interior is also entirely genuine leather, there is no fuzzing on the reverse side or deterioration of the interior over time.
