"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

This is a long wallet newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for long wallets at Philosophii.

The small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and is suitable for a cashless society.

Minimal and Luxurious

Although small and understated in design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a high-quality wallet made with exquisite leather and careful craftsmanship, so that you can feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm.

To bring out the charm of the soft domestic shrink leather "Cuir Mash," the wallet body is plumply made from a single seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000-yen bill (width 160mm x height 76mm), this wallet (width 164mm x height 85mm) is the smallest possible for a long wallet.

It is even more compact than a typical long wallet (around 200mm in width) or the compact Fleur Long wallet (175mm in width).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet even with a small bag.

The thickness is approximately 20mm even when full.

It is designed not to bulge even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We've added a front pocket that holds 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also reinforces the most frequently touched opening of the wallet, which helps prevent wear and tear on the leather.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket has been added to the back exterior.

It's very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping it thin and giving it a sleek, inconspicuous appearance.

Bills Can Be Separated into Two Places

We've fulfilled the common request from many customers who ordered wallets: "I want to separate bills into two places."

With bill compartments on both the front and back sides of the coin purse, you can flexibly use it to separate bills or to separate bills from receipts.

Peace of Mind with Many Cards

Cards are stored in the inner back compartment.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we've reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are designed with ample width, so they won't feel cramped even if you have many cards.

While some wallets may show card impressions on the outside, the "Nouvelle" has generous card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card space, it is structured to prevent card impressions from showing on the outside.

Plenty of Room for Coins

The "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, but when the snap is opened, the gussets on both sides open wide, revealing the central coin compartment.

The coin compartment is wide, using the full width of the wallet, making it easy to access and offering high visibility of coins.

Even if the number of coins increases, they are distributed inside, so you won't notice the thickness even with a lot of loose change.

Made from genuine Japanese leather (cowhide), each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

The entire interior is also made of genuine leather, so there is no fuzzing on the reverse side or deterioration of the interior over time.
