"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

This long wallet was newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for long wallets at Philosophii.

The "Nouvelle" small leather flap long wallet was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and adapts to the cashless trend.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Despite its small and discreet design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm, using high-quality leather and meticulous tailoring.

To bring out the charm of the soft domestic shrink leather "Cuir Mache," the wallet body is plumply made from a single seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and experience the luxurious texture of the leather for yourself.

Ultimate Compactness

At 164mm wide x 85mm high, it's almost the same size as a 10,000 yen bill (160mm wide x 76mm high), making it the smallest possible long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to typical long wallets (around 200mm wide) and the compact Fleur Long long wallet (175mm wide).

This wallet is perfect for those who prefer a long wallet but carry a small bag.

Even when filled, the thickness is about 20mm.

It is designed to resist bulging even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We've added a pocket on the front that can hold 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and won't fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also has the advantage of reinforcing the frequently touched front opening of the wallet, preventing the leather from deteriorating easily.

Convenient Back Pocket

We've added a large pocket on the outside back.

It's very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping it thin and giving it a discreet and smart appearance.

Bills Can Be Separated into Two Places

We've fulfilled the common request from many customers who ordered wallets to "separate bills into two places."

With bill compartments on both sides of the coin purse (front and back), you can flexibly use it to separate bills or to separate bills from receipts.

Peace of Mind Even with Many Cards

Cards are stored in the inner back.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we've reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are designed with ample width, so they won't feel cramped even if you have many cards.

While some wallets show card imprints on the outside, the "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card slots, the card outlines are less likely to show on the exterior.

Jingle Coins Are OK

While the "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, opening the snap reveals wide gussets on both sides, making the central coin space easy to see.

The wide coin space, utilizing the entire width, makes it easy to access coins and provides high visibility.

Even if you accumulate a lot of coins, they are dispersed inside, so you won't notice the thickness even with many jingling coins.

Safe and Secure Quality

Made with Japanese genuine leather (cowhide) and produced one by one by artisans in Japan.

The interior is also entirely made of genuine leather, preventing fraying on the back and deterioration of the interior over time.

As we produce in-house, we can promptly handle after-sales care such as hardware repairs.
