"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

This long wallet was designed from scratch to create a new standard for Philosophii long wallets.

The "Nouvelle" small leather flap long wallet was created as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and adapts to the cashless trend.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Though small and understated in design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel good, with high-quality leather and careful craftsmanship, so you can feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm.

To bring out the charm of the soft "Cuir Mâche" domestic shrink leather, the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single, seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

At nearly the same size as a 10,000-yen bill (width 160mm x height 76mm), this wallet (width 164mm x height 85mm) is the smallest possible for a long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to a typical long wallet (around 200mm in width) or the compact Fleur long wallet (175mm in width).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet despite having a small bag.

Even when filled, the thickness is approximately 20mm.

It's designed to not bulge, even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We've added a front pocket that holds 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, cards are hidden from view and won't fall out.

Storing cards in the front pocket also has the advantage of reinforcing the most frequently touched opening of the wallet, preventing the leather from wearing out easily.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket has been added to the exterior back.

It is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, and other items.

Since the back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, the thickness is kept to a minimum, resulting in a discreet and smart appearance.

Bills can be separated into two compartments.

We've realized the common request, received through numerous wallet orders, to "separate bills into two compartments."

With bill compartments on both the front and back sides of the coin purse, you can flexibly use it to separate bills, or bills from receipts.

Peace of mind even with many cards

Cards are stored in the back interior.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we've reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are designed with ample width, so they won't feel cramped even if you increase the number of cards.

While some wallets show card imprints on the exterior, "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and furthermore, there is a flap and a back pocket behind the card pockets, making it difficult for card impressions to appear on the exterior.

Coin jingling is OK

The "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, but when the snap is opened, the gussets on both sides open wide, making the central coin space easy to see.

The wide coin space, utilizing the entire width, makes it easy to access coins and improves their visibility.

Even if the number of coins increases, they are dispersed inside, so you don't have to worry about the thickness even if you have a lot of jingling coins.

Made from genuine Japanese leather (cowhide), each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

The interior is also entirely made of genuine leather, preventing fraying on the back and deterioration of the interior over time.
