"Nouvelle," meaning "new" in French.

This long wallet was newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for Philosophii's long wallets.

The compact long leather flap wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and is suitable for a cashless society.

Minimal and Luxurious

Despite its small and discreet design, this wallet has a strong presence.

"Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design elements, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel good with its high-quality leather and meticulous craftsmanship, allowing you to feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm.

To bring out the soft charm of "Cuir Mache," a domestic shrink leather, the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single seamless piece of leather.

Ultimate Compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000-yen bill (160mm wide x 76mm high), measuring 164mm wide x 85mm high, it is the minimum size for a long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to a typical long wallet (around 200mm wide) or the compact long wallet Fleur Longue (175mm wide).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet despite having a small bag.

Even when full, its thickness is about 20mm.

It is designed to not bulge even with large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We added a front pocket that holds 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Storing cards in the front pocket also has the advantage of reinforcing the wallet's most frequently touched front opening, which helps prevent the leather from deteriorating.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket has been added to the outer back.

It's very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, and so on.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping the thickness minimal and giving it a sleek and discreet appearance.

Bills Can Be Separated into Two Places

We fulfilled the common request to "separate bills into two places," which we've heard frequently when taking many wallet orders.

With bill compartments on both sides of the coin purse (front and back), you can flexibly use it to separate bills, or bills and receipts.

No Worries About Many Cards

Cards are stored in the inner back.

Multiple cards can be stacked and stored in the two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we've reduced leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are designed with ample width, so they won't feel cramped even if the number of cards increases.

While some wallets show card imprints on the exterior, "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card space, it is structured to prevent card imprints from appearing on the exterior.

Coins Can Rattle Freely

Although "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, when the snap is opened, the gussets on both sides open wide, making the central coin space easy to see.

The coin space is wide, using the full width, making it easy to access and offering high visibility for coins.

Even if you have many coins, they are distributed within, so you don't have to worry about thickness even if a lot of coins accumulate and rattle.

Reliable and Safe Quality

This product uses Japanese genuine leather (cowhide) and is handcrafted one by one by artisans in Japan.

The entire interior is also made of genuine leather, so there is no fluffing on the back or deterioration of the interior over time.

As we produce in-house, we can quickly respond to after-sales care such as hardware repairs.
