"Nouvelle," meaning "new" in French.

This long wallet was newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for long wallets at Philosophii.

The small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and adapts to the trend of cashless payments.

Minimalist and luxurious

Although small and understated in design, this wallet has a strong presence.

The "Nouvelle" is not just a long wallet that has been reduced in size.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm, using high-quality leather and meticulous tailoring.

To bring out the soft charm of domestically produced shrink leather "Cuir Mache," the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single, seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

The ultimate in compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000-yen bill (width 160mm x height 76mm), this wallet (width 164mm x height 85mm) is the smallest possible for a long wallet.

It is even more compact compared to general long wallets (around 200mm width) and the compact long wallet, Fleur Long (175mm width).

This wallet is perfect for those who want to use a long wallet despite having a small bag.

The thickness is approximately 20mm even when filled.

It is designed to not bulge even with large capacity.

Frequently used cards in the front pocket

A pocket for 1-2 cards has been added to the front.

When the snap is closed, cards are not visible from the outside and will not fall out.

Keeping cards in the front pocket also has the benefit of reinforcing the most frequently touched opening of the wallet, making the leather less prone to damage.

Convenient back pocket

A large pocket has been added to the outer back.

It is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the main body of the wallet with a single piece of leather, keeping it thin and giving it a discreet, smart appearance.

Bills can be separated into two compartments

We have fulfilled the frequent request to "store bills in two separate places," which we have received from many wallet orders.

With bill compartments on both sides of the coin purse (front and back), you can flexibly separate bills or bills and receipts.

Peace of mind even with many cards

Cards are stored in the inner back of the wallet.

Multiple cards are stacked and stored in two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we reduced leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are generously sized, so they won't feel tight even if the number of cards increases.

While some wallets may show card impressions on the outside, "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card slots, the card impressions are less likely to show on the exterior.

Plenty of room for coins

While the "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, opening the snap reveals large gussets on both sides, making the central coin compartment easy to see.

The wide coin compartment, which utilizes the entire width, makes it easy to access coins and offers high visibility.

Even if the number of coins increases, they are dispersed inside, so you won't notice the thickness even with many coins rattling around.

Made with genuine Japanese cowhide leather, each item is handcrafted by artisans in Japan.

The interior is also entirely made of genuine leather, preventing fraying on the back and deterioration of the interior over time.
