"Nouvelle" means "new" in French.

This long wallet was newly designed from scratch to create a new standard for Philosophii's long wallets.

The small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits in small bags and adapts to the trend of cashless payments.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Although it has a small and modest design, this wallet has a strong presence.

"Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a long wallet.

While eliminating unnecessary size and design, we aimed to create a wallet that makes you feel the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm, using high-quality leather and careful tailoring.

To bring out the soft leather appeal of domestic shrink leather "Cuir Mache," the wallet body is plumply crafted from a single, seamless piece of leather.

Please pick it up and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

At approximately the same size as a 10,000 yen bill (160mm wide x 76mm high), measuring 164mm wide x 85mm high, it is the smallest possible size for a long wallet.

It is even more compact than typical long wallets (around 200mm wide) and the compact long wallet "Fleur Long" (175mm wide).

This wallet is perfect for those who use small bags but want to use a long wallet.

When filled, the thickness is approximately 20mm.

It is designed to prevent bulging even with a large capacity.

Frequently Used Cards in the Front Pocket

We've added a pocket on the front that holds 1-2 cards.

When the snap is closed, cards are out of sight and won't fall out.

Storing cards in the front pocket also has the benefit of reinforcing the most frequently touched opening on the front of the wallet, making the leather less prone to damage.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket has been added to the outer back.

This is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is connected to the wallet body with a single piece of leather, which keeps the thickness down and gives it a smart, inconspicuous appearance.

Two Compartments for Bills

We've fulfilled a common request we received from many wallet orders: "I want to store bills in two separate compartments."

With bill compartments on both the front and back of the coin purse, you can flexibly store bills separately or separate bills from receipts.

Plenty of Room for Cards

Cards are stored in the back of the interior.

Multiple cards are stacked and stored in two card pockets.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we've reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card pockets are generously sized with extra width, so they won't feel cramped even if you add more cards.

With some wallets, card imprints can show on the outside, but the "Nouvelle" has ample card space, and with a flap and back pocket behind the card space, the card imprints are less likely to appear on the outside.

Plenty of Coins are Fine

While the "Nouvelle" is thin when closed, when the snap is opened, the gussets on both sides open wide, making the central coin compartment easy to see.

The coin compartment is wide, spanning the entire width, making it easy to reach inside and providing high visibility for coins.

Even if the number of coins increases, they are dispersed inside, so you don't have to worry about the thickness even if you have a lot of rattling coins.

Made in Japan using genuine leather (cowhide), each item is meticulously crafted by artisans in Japan.

The interior is also entirely made of genuine leather, so there is no fuzzing on the back or deterioration of the interior over time.
