"Nouvelle," meaning "new" in French.

This long wallet was designed from scratch to set a new standard for Philosophii long wallets.

The small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" was born as a compact wallet that fits into small bags and meets the needs of a cashless lifestyle.

Minimalist and Luxurious

While it features a small and understated design, it is a wallet with a strong sense of presence.

"Nouvelle" is not just a smaller version of a standard long wallet.

By stripping away unnecessary size and design elements while retaining the warmth and luxury of leather in your palm, we aimed to create a wallet that uplifts your mood through high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship.

To highlight the charm of the soft Japanese shrink leather "Cuir Mache," the main body is crafted from a single, seamless piece of leather with a plump finish.

We invite you to hold it and feel the luxurious texture of the leather.

Ultimate Compactness

At nearly the same dimensions (164mm width x 85mm height) as a 10,000 yen note (160mm width x 76mm height), it is the minimal size for a long wallet.

It is even more compact than standard long wallets (about 200mm width) and our compact long wallet, "Fleur Long" (175mm width).

It is the perfect wallet for those who carry small bags but still want to use a long wallet.

The thickness is only about 20mm, even when filled.

It is designed to remain slim even with high capacity.

Keep frequently used cards in the front pocket

We added a front pocket that holds 1–2 cards.

When the snap is closed, the cards are hidden and secure from falling out.

By keeping a card in the front pocket, it also reinforces the edge of the wallet—the area most frequently touched by your fingers—helping to prevent the leather from wearing down.

Convenient back pocket

We added a large pocket to the outer back.

It is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts or tickets.

The back pocket is connected to the main body by a single piece of leather, keeping it thin for a clean and smart appearance.

Separate your bills in two sections

In response to the many requests we’ve received for a wallet that allows users to "separate bills into two sections," we have made this a reality.

Because there are bill compartments in front of and behind the coin purse, you can use them flexibly to separate bills, or keep bills and receipts in separate areas.

No worries with many cards

Cards are stored in the back interior.

You can stack multiple cards across two card slots.

By storing cards together rather than individually, we reduced the number of leather parts, achieving a thinner and lighter design.

The card slots are designed with extra width, so they won't feel cramped even if the number of cards increases.

While some wallets show card imprints on the front surface, the "Nouvelle" has extra room in the card space, and with the flap and back pocket behind the card area, the structure is designed to prevent card outlines from showing on the front.

Plenty of room for coins

While the "Nouvelle" is slim when closed, opening the snap allows the gussets on both sides to open wide, making the central coin space easy to see.

The coin space spans the entire width, making it easy to reach inside and providing excellent visibility of your coins.

Because coins disperse within the space, you won't need to worry about thickness even if you accumulate many of them.

Made from Japanese genuine cowhide and crafted by artisans in Japan one by one.

The interior is also made entirely of genuine leather, so you won't have to worry about the fuzzing of the underside or aging degradation of the lining.

Because we handle our own production, we can provide prompt after-sales support, including metal parts repair.
