This is a long wallet newly designed from scratch to create Philosophia's new standard long wallet.

It is a compact wallet that fits in small bags and is compatible with the cashless trend.

The small zippered long wallet "Nouvelle ZIP" achieves the smallest and thinnest class for a zippered long wallet.

Surprisingly Small and Thin

The "Nouvelle ZIP" is not only one of the smallest zippered wallets, but it also achieves an overwhelmingly compact thickness of 13mm, making it even thinner than the small leather flap long wallet "Nouvelle" (approx. 20mm thick).

Once you use it, you won't be able to go back to large, heavy long wallets. It's a mini long wallet that will change your lifestyle.

At approximately the same size as a 10,000 yen bill (160mm wide x 76mm high), with dimensions of 165mm wide x 83mm high, this zippered long wallet is as small as possible.

Minimalist and Luxurious

Small wallets tend to look cheap. If you prioritize making them smaller and lighter by using thin leather or omitting lining to cut costs, the wallet can end up looking cheap.

The "Nouvelle ZIP" is crafted with a high-quality Japanese leather and incorporates the manufacturing techniques for custom-made leather products that Philosophia has cultivated over many years, resulting in a luxurious finish.

While using soft shrink leather that fits comfortably in the hand as the main material, it is reinforced with appropriate interlining to prevent it from losing its shape even after long use, and the interior uses firm embossed leather.

Despite its small size, it is a wallet where you can feel the high quality of genuine leather and the excellent craftsmanship.

Convenient Back Pocket

A large pocket is attached to the outer back.

The pocket is 150mm wide, which is very convenient for temporarily storing receipts, tickets, etc.

The back pocket is seamlessly connected to the main body of the wallet, which also keeps it thin, resulting in a discreet and smart appearance.

Bills can be separated into two places

We have received many requests for "dividing bills into two places" from the numerous wallet orders we have taken over the years, and we have achieved both this demand and wallet miniaturization with our unique structure.

There are two bill compartments, one in front of and one behind the coin purse, allowing for flexible use, such as separating bills or separating bills and receipts.

The gusset without seams is a design that inherits the aesthetic of Philosophia's long-selling wallet "Fleur."

The absence of seams in the gusset allows bills to fit deep inside, enabling the miniaturization of the wallet.

The partition between bills and coins is not fixed and can move freely, so even if the number of bills increases, they will fit all the way inside.

The Secret to a Zipper That Doesn't Catch Bills

The biggest concern when using a small zippered wallet is whether the zipper will damage bills.

The "Nouvelle ZIP" adopts the rare [YKK Excella No. 2 zipper] for a wallet to achieve both miniaturization of the wallet body and ease of use of the zipper.

Compared to the zippers used in general long wallets (No. 3 or No. 5 zippers), the No. 2 zipper has a narrower metal width and a smaller slider size, making it less likely to catch bills.

Furthermore, the narrower metal width allows for an overwhelmingly thin body of 11mm, and 13mm including the back pocket.

The size of the wallet body was adjusted in 1mm increments while repeatedly checking its usability.

Easy Access to Important Cards

When you open the zipper, you'll find a dedicated "VIP card" pocket prominently placed on the front of the coin purse.

This pocket holds 2-3 cards.

Store your frequently used "VIP cards" here in their VIP seats.

There are two card pockets deep inside, each capable of holding about 3 cards stacked, for a total of approximately 6 cards.

The card pockets are wide enough to accommodate cards slightly larger than credit cards.

Less Card Marks Over Time

No card pockets are attached to the front of the main body.

This prevents card and coin impressions from affecting the exterior, so the leather won't deform even with long-term use.

Overwhelmingly Easy-to-Use Coin Purse

When you open the zipper, a large-capacity coin purse space opens wide.

Not only coins, but also bills and cards are instantly visible.

Although the coin purse does not have a zipper, rest assured that it is designed so that coins will not spill into other compartments when the outer zipper is closed.
