Meet the "Chii-velle"—a card-sized version of our small leather flap long wallet, "Nouvelle," featuring the exact same design.
Beyond serving as a mini wallet, it is versatile enough to be used as a card case, coin purse, business card holder, or multi-purpose case.
A perfectly shrunken version of our small long wallet, "Nouvelle"
We have taken the minimal, sophisticated design of our small leather flap long wallet, "Nouvelle," and shrunk it down to card size.
The front and back pockets of the original Nouvelle have been faithfully recreated.
Using the Nouvelle and Chii-velle as a matching set adds a sense of consistency to your everyday essentials.
Small, yet luxurious
While stripping away unnecessary design elements, we used high-quality leather and careful craftsmanship to ensure you feel the warmth and luxury of the leather in the palm of your hand.
To highlight the charm of the soft "Cuir Mache" domestic shrink leather, the main body is crafted from a single, seamless piece of leather with a plump finish.
We encourage you to hold it and experience the luxurious texture of the leather for yourself.
As a mini wallet
The Chii-velle includes a removable divider, allowing you to split the interior into three sections.
You can neatly separate banknotes (folded into thirds or quarters), cards, and coins, making it perfect for use as a mini wallet.
The internal divider can be removed.
As a card case
It can store approximately 10 thicker cards, such as credit cards.
It is convenient for keeping cards you use less frequently separate from your main wallet.
The internal width is approximately 100mm, allowing it to fit loyalty cards that are slightly larger than standard credit cards (86mm wide).
At only about 40g, the compact Chii-velle won't take up valuable space in your bag.
As a business card holder
It can store approximately 30 business cards.
By using the internal divider to split the storage into three sections, you can keep your own cards separate from the ones you have received.
Convenient back pocket
The exterior features a back pocket perfectly sized for a card.
It is convenient for storing items like IC cards or parking tickets.
Because the back pocket is made from the same single piece of leather as the main body, it remains thin, maintaining a sleek and unobtrusive appearance.
Mini pocket
The front features a pocket that is a signature design element of the Nouvelle.
Since it is mini-sized, it will not fit credit cards, but it is large enough to hold two 500-yen coins side by side.
Quality you can rely on
Made with genuine Japanese leather (cowhide) and crafted one by one by skilled artisans in Japan.
The interior is also fully lined with genuine leather, meaning no unsightly fuzz or degradation of the lining over time.
As we produce these ourselves, we can provide prompt after-care, such as repairs for hardware.
You can enjoy this piece with confidence for many years to come.
